About Ordering

How do I place an order?

1. Order On-line. Fast, simple and secure.

Select a product, size and finish. Add to your shopping basket and proceed to the checkout. When you are making your order online you will be asked if you want a 55Max Bespoke Gift Order Box sent out to you by post or if you wish to automatically proceed with your order on-line.

If wishing to proceed straight away with your order on-line a confirmation email will be sent to you on completion of payment which will contain your own unique order number. You will use this to activate your order.

2. To activate your order and start uploading images, simply click on the link in your confirmation email or return to www.55maxbespoke.com and go to the log in section. Your photo(s) can then be uploaded straight away online, or you can email or post you photo(s) to us. Please feel free to combine the methods but always make sure to quote your Unique Order Number which has either been sent by email or can be found on the order form in the 55Max Gift Bespoke Order Box.

3. If you would prefer to talk with one of our experienced designers for advice or want some help with the process please call on +44 (0) 8450568728. Feel free to place your order by phone. Your photo(s) can then follow by email or post.

What methods of payment do you take?

What is your 55Max Gift Bespoke Order Box?

Our products are popular as gifts. The 55Max Gift Bespoke Order Box is similar to a gift voucher and allows the recipient to send their image(s) in for production in their own time. It can be difficult to pick photos for other people, so our 55Max Gift Bespoke Order Box is ideal. The box contains a description of the selected Bespoke Product and an easy step by step guide. The Gift Order Box will be sent out within 5 working days free of charge to anywhere in the world.

Are there any currency or exchange rate fluctuations?

Unless you are able to pay in GBP £'s there will be exchange rate fluctuations. All our core prices are quoted in GBP £'s and are subject to the ups and downs of the international exchange rates.

About Providing Photos

How do I submit my photo(s)?

- You can post original photograph(s), along with other memorabilia. You can also send in a CD or USP stick with images on. We advise sending any original photographs and memorabilia to us via registered post, please ensure to include your Unique Order No or order form.

- Images can be emailed or uploaded on-line using our FTP site. This is very easy to use!

- If emailing any images please make sure to always include your Unique Order No in the Subject header.

What are the preferred formats for supplying digital photos?

If sending images by email, or using our on-line facility we recommend a Jpeg format. We are also happy to accept large PSD or Tiff files on CD.

What are the photo requirements?

Prints: We scan any original photograph up to A4 (8.5 inches wide by 11.75) preferably no smaller than 2.5 x 2.5 inches. We accept colour as well as black & white images, and we can convert your colour photo to black & white (for FREE). Great care is taken with your print(s) and we will return them registered post separate from your product.

Digital images: If you have no idea about image resolution, just send it to us and we'll take a look. Ideally, the resolution of your digital image will be a minimum of 300 dpi for a normal 4 x 6 print allowing us to enlarge it and still maintain excellent print quality at actual size. In some cases, we can work with lower resolution. Please use our online order method for digital file transfer.

If I send my photo into you, would it be returned in the condition that I sent it in?

Yes. We are very careful with people's photographs. They are stored safely. We ask you to label it in the first instance being careful to write on a sticker before applying it to the photo so as to avoid damaging the photo when writing. Don't paperclip. Address your envelope before putting the photo in.

If sending more than one photo make sure the ink on label is dry before placing against additional photo(s). We cannot be held responsible for loss of photo(s) in the postal system. We do advise sending photo (s) using registered post. We will return photo(s) by registered post and your bespoke product by courier.

Will my photo(s) be returned?

Yes by registered post and separate to your bespoke product

Can you make adjustments to my photo(s)?

Our experience designers will always make some colour adjustments and crop the image to fit to get the very best results. Red eye and date stamp will be removed free of charge. If you have a request, please include it with your order. We will be able to change colour to black and white or sepia.

My Photo Old family photo has creases and blotches. Will it look OK?

Yes - it will be scanned and retouched to look great. We will conduct some basic photo retouching to prepare your image for great results, but it may retain some authenticity, depending of creases etc.

How long does it all take?

Photomontage Products will be delivered within 21 days after sign off from your proof - please allow 7 days for your proof

Single Image Products will be delivered within 21 days on receipt of your image

Photo books will be delivered within 21 days after sign off from your proof - Please allow 21 days for your proof

Can I get my order done quicker?

Depending on the time of the year lead time with vary. If you need an order processed quickly please do let us know your request and we will endeavor to do our best to give your order high priority!

About Packaging, Shipping And Delivery

FREE UK Delivery. UK shipping is done by our couriers Fedex/ TNT/UPS - courier depends on the item - on some items we send recorded delivery - International shipping charges are calculated according to the destination and the volumetric weight (size and weight) of the product
 
Photographs will be returned by Registered Post separately from your bespoke product and will need to be signed for.
 
If you are out, a missed delivery card will be left by the courier and we will try again next working day. You 'may' be able to rearrange delivery direct with the carrier by calling the telephone number on their card but specifying particular times will not be possible. You may also arrange or elect to collect directly from the courier depot if convenient.
 
If the courier have to return the item to 55Max Bespoke then you will be charged for a second delivery.
 
Please try and make sure to give us a delivery address where someone will be there to collect all day i.e a work address.
 
Tracking Your Parcel -
 
We keep records of all dispatches. Please remember that your order will take upto 21 days from the day you sign-off of the proofed design. You may call us at any point to find out the progress of your order.
 
Shipping Overseas is handled by our different courier companies (usually about 2-3 days) or Royal Mail Signed for International (4-5 days) for your photographs. It is a track and trace service so you can check with us on shipping progress.

Can I order have goods sent to another delivery address?
 
When entering your personal details you will be given an opportunity to say whether you wish to receive goods at your own address or sent to a different delivery address.
